About the Show
WHO SAYS THEY DON’T MAKE GREAT BIG MUSICAL COMEDIES LIKE THEY USED TO?
SOME LIKE IT HOT brings one of Hollywood’s greatest comedies to new life on the Broadway stage. Don’t miss your chance to join this fast-paced, sassy, brassy cross-country romp, as two best friends run for their lives – and find true love where they least expect it.

About the Theatre
Shubert Theatre
225 W 44th St
New York, NY 10036
The Shubert Theatre opened in 1913 with a series of Shakespearean plays. It is named after Sam S. Shubert, one of the three Shubert Brothers. The sidewalk that adjoins it to the Booth Theatre is known as Shubert Alley. The theater is perhaps best known for housing the original Broadway production of A Chorus Line, which ran for an incredible 6,137 performances.
The theatre has been a returning venue for the Tony Awards and has been designated a New York City landmark. In the 2005 film version of Mel Brooks’ The Producers, the musicals Funny Boy, Springtime for Hitler, and Prisoners of Love are all staged at the Shubert Theatre.
