New Season, New Shows!

BroadwayGPS is so excited for another incredible season. Spring has sprung, and that means Broadway is popping up with a plethora of new and exciting shows. As our staff and clients get to preview new shows, we wanted to share some testimonials from some our favorites this season.

Hell’s Kitchen

“I was thoroughly impressed by this show! Highly recommend … Stellar cast, production was flawless, and the music and choreography was beyond moving.” – Corporate Tour Operator

“This might be one of the best shows I’ve ever seen! Everyone in it is outstanding, one of the best ensembles on Broadway!” – Social Group Leader

Recommended for high schoolers and up due to some language and PG13 content.

Stereophonic

“I’m still thinking about this show… WOW WOW WOW was SPECTACULAR. This is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time. It’s three hours long, but it just flies by. The actors are perfectly cast and each one of them gets their moment to shine. This deserves a Tony nomination for Best Score, it is REALLY good!” – BroadwayGPS Staff Member

The Outsiders

“The show was AMAZING! I loved everything about it! The cast did an excellent job and the fight scenes were incredible. You felt the emotion throughout every song and act. The show left me in tears along with the rest of the crowd.  I would see it again!” – Student Tour Operator

Recommended for student groups, some minimal language. Ages 12+.

Suffs

“After seeing SUFFS this past Thursday evening, I can confidently say that it’s one of the best new musicals I’ve seen in a long time and very possibly my favorite show of this season. Leigh Silverman’s direction is nimble and smart, Shaina Taub’s score is one of the strongest we’ve heard on Broadway in recent memory, and the entire cast is absolutely stellar from top to bottom! The historical content makes this a great choice for student groups, and it’s entertaining and accessible in a way that makes it an excellent pick for any group looking to see a Broadway show. Frankly, it’s hard for me to imagine anyone who WOULDN’T enjoy it! I look forward to telling people all about SUFFS, and I hope to be back again soon!” – BroadwayGPS Staff Member

Water for Elephants

“I had no idea what the show was going to be before seeing it, and it was such a pleasant surprise! I didn’t expect the amazing circus acrobatics, and they were incredible. I loved the creative way they presented the elephant and circus animals through puppetry. There was a very good balance of spectacle without it overshadowing the plot. This will work well for student groups. The acrobatics alone will win them over!” – Student Tour Operator

The Notebook

“I really, really liked this show. As a sophisticated and fairly intimate show, I think it will appeal to groups interested in theatrical storytelling, songwriting and stagecraft! The cast is excellent, and Ingrid Michaelson’s score is smart and well-crafted, perfectly suited to the story and the performers. The production stays faithful to the source material while also reimagining the story for the stage in a way that feels satisfying and earned.” – BroadwayGPS Staff Member
