Broadway’s upcoming season is so star-studded, you’d think the Oscars were coming to town. It’s a roster of jaw-dropping talent, many of whom are returning to their roots – theatre. What good fortune for us! And lest you are doubtful: Denzel Washington started off-Broadway in A Soldier’s Play and was scooped up by Hollywood soon after. Mia Farrow also started in theatre as did many others below. Good actors know good writing and are eager to dive into roles that challenge and exercise their formidable acting chops.
