The 79th Annual Tony Awards delivered a celebratory night on Broadway, with music superstar and global icon P!NK hosting the ceremony. The evenings biggest winner was Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, which collected six awards, including Best Revival of a Play. And the new musical Schmigadoon! emerged as the top musical winner, taking Best Musical along with honors for its book and score. Ragtime also had a strong showing, winning Best Revival of a Musical and earning acting trophies for Joshua Henry and Caissie Levy.
The night also included anniversary tributes celebrating landmark musicals including Chicago and The Book of Mormon. The result was a starry night of nostalgia and new work!
